Julie Chen Moonves hosted the famous summer reality series Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been The Talk's first hosts, hosting and moderating The Talk from 2010 until 2018, when she was the host. The real reason she was interested in the show came after she began writing and received an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for hosting an excellent entertainment talk show. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 between 2002 and 2010. Prior to that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor as well as the news anchor on The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks, she traveled to Cairo for an informative and fascinating interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. She also spoke with ex- New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has featured stars such as Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was an editor at WDTN TV Dayton in Dayton, the state of Ohio (1995-1997). In her final year of college, she was an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news program). It was her first job in broadcasting as a Desk Assistant on ABC News' late-night show Nightline With Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker for Anatomy of a Riot (the Premiertime Special of Columbia du-Pont that looked at how the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
